"Very nice place. Staff was very helpful. The unit we stay was nice and clean. Notice the shower floor was bit slippery, however, hotel is aware of this, so they provide this paper for you to lay down on the shower base that helps with the slippery problem. The only complaint I have, and this is something Expedia needs to be made aware is that on their description show this place with air conditioning system, but this is regulated either to be hot or cold depending on the month, I guess. "My wife got stuck in the bathroom due to a faulty door. It took over an hour of me harassing the hotel staff to get maintenance that was dealing with a broken elevator. I pointed out no one was actually in the elevator, and in the event of a fire, my wife would be trapped. The manager was dismissive and didn’t care. The man at the desk was sympathetic but obviously not able to override his boss. Eventually a man came and broke the door and the frame to get her out. Whilst we was given a...

"Arrived and had to wait quite a long time to check in. Also, we were told we couldn’t use the indoor pool as a family were staying in the building with the pool in, which we weren’t pre-warned about. Buffett breakfast was a good selection, and location was handy for taxis."

"Great stay and amazing location next to the beach, with close amenities. Great breakfast and pool areas with lovely views. Staff were brilliant and very helpful. Only thing to watch is it is large hotel where some rooms do not have nice views/are not refurbed to quite the same spec as photos- shout out to Santiago who was very understanding of this but just a note for some feedback. "

"Decent hotel.. very rushed during breakfast and it’s odd how breakfast finishes same time as checkout. One would think that there was at least half an hour in between. They virtually chase you out of brekki at 11am and maid I virtually at room door at 11am. Room was a bit dusty but ok. Bathroom vent leak too"

"This was our second stay at the Hotel Garbi. We have stayed in quite a few hotels in Playa D’en Bossa but this is one of our favourites. The staff in all areas are friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and well appointed. We particularly like the Chill Garbi beach restaurant which has an excellent food and cocktail menu and is really good value compared to many other places in the area. "The front desk management wasn’t very friendly. No hello no acknowledgment at all. The most helpful and friendly person was the guy named Athios in glasses behind front desk . And all the staff in bar, breakfast room. Will definitely come back again "

"The hotel was great but the service in the adjoins bar was terrible. 45 mins to get a drink served. Then after requesting a second drink had to walk out and go to the main hotel bar when served in 5 minutes. Despite the hotel being great o really this experience was very disappointing and when explained in checkout was met with just a sorry. "

"My room had a great view of the water. There was a balcony, too. Room did not have carpeting which makes it feel cleaner as carpeting holds dirt and dust mites. Breakfast buffet was plentiful. Staff was helpful and there was parking available for free as we had a rental vehicle. And because we traveled in the off season, the room rate was excellent."

"We were a bit sceptical about the hotel after reading reviews about the food and rooms. We stayed six nights and upgraded to all inclusive. It was myself, my 14 year old and my 11 year old. The hotel is located in a small quiet bay where you can walk to restaurants and shops where you can potter about. The all inclusive food had a great selection with plenty of fresh meats, fruits and salads. The snack bar served fresh food throughout the afternoon. The room was clean and the beds comfortable, the hairdryer in the room was faulty when we got there and was quickly replaced. We throughly enjoyed our break. All the staff were friendly and helpful and we can not fault any of them. I would definitely come back."
