"Lovely, hotel i paid to upgrade the room to a king size bed. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was great. Only niggle is the bathroom, there was a crack in the sink and the bath had a lot of mildew on the silicon. The pool is quite small but very clean. I would stay there again."

"We loved our stay, the room was lovely and there was nice touches such as the chocolate and nice coffee. We enjoyed our breakfast in the morning. The only down side is the evening meal and drinks are on the pricey side, £13 for a double gin and lemonade (I am aware there is not much competition in otterburn). The meal was nice though and the staff were so lovely and accomodating :)."

"Location was ideal for my needs. Parking is not straightforward. Staff are superb, many thanks to Fiona for her friendly welcome. Bed not the most comfortable and it does get noisy quite early, so if you are not looking to get up early … use the ear plugs provided. "

"The Keelman is in a lovely spot by the Tyne. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The refreshments were great and very well received after a long walk! Food at the pub was also very nice. "
