"Our room was large with a big bathroom. A lot of the floor tiles were however cracked and the lighting was poor. In fact a standard light didn't work. Wifi was fine and breakfast was good. The main negative was that the gym was closed for refurbishment - this really should have been advertised whilst completing the booking. Access to Elche by foot was excellent."

Very friendly and helpful hotel staff, easy check-in process (although the online check-in option before you arrive didn't work for me). "Casa Alberola is a beautiful boutique style hotel. The neoclassical architecture is stunning. Lovely setting across from the harbor. The best thing about Casa Alberola is their staff! We had a warm welcome from the gals at the front desk who were so helpful and accommodating! Olivia and her colleague (sorry we didnt get your name!) went the extra mile to make us feel special! The continental breakfast staff and cleaning team were efficient, helpful and friendly. "

"Overall very good. A couple of points to consider. The adults only isn’t strictly true. There are children around the main pool and in the restaurant that you have to go to get your half board evening meal. Also in the restaurant the meal is included in your package of half board but the drinks aren’t not even a glass of water.
