While the mini bar was surprisingly included in my room rate, I was equally surprised to see that there were no amenities provided (body lotion, cotton balls etc). I didn’t try the breakfast."

"Coimbra is a very busy city with a lot of traffic that clearly creates ongoing parking challenges and general congestion. The property itself is hard to access but once you’re in, is quite good. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was excellent with a particularly good bathroom. The hotel has many group bookings and insufficient elevators so expect a wait at reception or getting to/ from your room. All check in is done virtually so please, read the instructions they send you before arrival all the information is there and it is simple and accurate.
