"It was in a good central location in easy walking distance of Shifnal if you wanted to eat elsewhere. We had a room in one of the cottages which was very nice and quiet, as it was away from the main function rooms in the hotel. The only issue was that the shower did not fully heat up as the shower thermostat wasn't functioning correctly. They offered us another room to move to, but as the water for the bath and sink was nice and hot we chose not to move. It was a good base for visiting...

"We had a very good welcome when we arrived late due to a wedding we were attending. Quick and efficient check-in. Rooms were generally good, although the shower had signs of orange bacteria and some black mould on the ceiling.
