"This is a very nice place. Every thing about the place exceeded our expectations and we enjoyed our time. "

"The property was nice. Transportation into town was difficult due to the distance. It took over 30 minutes to get an uber or cab. The price was high for the nightly rate and the rooms at the Boardwalk could use a little refreshing. The staff was nice, however I have had better service at resorts that cost the same price. Lastly, the resort does not offer a shuttle service around the property. I found this odd… I had to walk from the main check in area (different building) with my luggage...

"What a lovely stay we had. Clean, and bright lobby. Valet parking could not have been more professional or pleasant. George was night time valet and Chase was morning valet. Both gentlemen were super! Our check in receptionist was very pleasant and informative. Mezzanine area was clean and the snacks available were All Delicious! The room was very comfortable and the Bathrobes were so comfortable and cozy. We will be back! "

"The hotel is very nice. Very nice decor inside rooms. Love the two room suite, comfortable bed, rooms were kept clean, nice people, love star bucks inside. However, I have it as a 4 star because I was unaware of a $150 incidental fee/deposit, although I paid my hotel stay in advance. This hotel holds a $50 per night upfront incidental deposit when checking in regardless if paid in advance or not. Upon checking out the hold will be released and deposit return to your card 5-7 days after checking...

The lobby and common areas were nice and kept with the historical theme of the hotel. Great amenities such as coffee, sweet tea, and hot tea. We were caught in a rainy time and they supplied us with umbrellas so we could still walk around. You will feel a bit pampered in the fact they have snacks in the room, turn down service with chocolates at night, a butler that is a wealth of information! The location is absolutely perfect. We debated on getting a car but we were able to walk everywhere. We took an u er yo folly beach for the day which was perfect. (2we heard they the Uber drivers don't like yo go to folly on the weekends but on a Tuesday morning there was no traffix"
