"The Orange Tree has benefited from an extensive upgrade and refurbishment and the place exudes an air of nothing spared quality. We had an upstairs annex room and whilst the room itself was clean and well appointed, it was rather cramped and lacked any windows and therefore the option of nighttime ventilation - not so good in hot weather. Food quality was good and menu choice also good, although service was a little slow at times, even though the restaurant was not particularly busy."

"Our stay was very good. Food and staff were lovely. and very helpful despite being short staffed. No hot water in bathroom basin during our stay. Last day no water for coffee at breakfast. Decided to use coffee machine in our room but it did not work! Apart from those issues we enjoyed our stay and thought the refurb was an improvement"

"Receptionists warm and welcoming. Showed us to our room which was perfect for our one night stay. Lovely little extras in the room such as gin & tonics, strawberry tartlets and a card wishing us a happy anniversary. Room well appointed with everything you need. Free fresh milk and bottled water available from a fridge next to reception. Ate in the bar area in the evening and was presented with a lovely plate of petit fours as a gift after our meal. "Great place for a few days on business. Great value for money. Food excellent. Rooms fine."

"We arrived and was warmly great by Jacqui. Shown to our room where all amenities were explained. Room was perfect for us for the one night. All toiletries provided along with lots of small items like a pad and pen, Sleep caps. breakfast was lovely. when we come to Sherringham we will definitely stay again. Perfect location."

"Staff were superb and food was as excellent as always. Bar furniture looks a little dated and could use a deep clean in places, but very comfortable. Bed was superb and the room excellent. The underfloor heating takes ages to warm the room and as it was very cold, it would have been nicer if it had been turned up a while before arrival. Minor points though. Overall extremely good and we will certainly be back."

"Having booked and had confirmed that we were staying at the Vine, we had actually been booked into the sister hotel The Hoste. After I sent them the email of confirmation we were uickly transferred to The Vine, fortunately there was room available there. Our room was beautiful and the staff very helpful. Also enjoyed dining in the Hoste and breakfast in The.Garden Room. "
