"Such a lovely stay that exceeded our expectations. Comfiest bed of our holiday so far too! Highly recommend the sundowner game drive and dinner, Elton is so knowledgeable abour everything! and he is a natural storyteller. The ostrich tour was fantastic too, Zenith was friendly and informative and you could tell loved the ostriches. Overall just a brilliant stay and all staff we met were helpful and friendly. Amazing views from the property too. Highly recommend staying here. "

"Marie is a warm and inviting host, nothing appears to be too much trouble. Our room was spacious with an outdoor seating & patio area. The guest house is on the edge of town and so we used a cab service when heading out for dinner in the evening. "The drive up to the hotel off of the main paved road requires driving along a poorly conditioned dirt road. That part had us wondering where we had booked, but after the road - literally everything was top rated! The Staff was very friendly and accommodating and they provide a great deal of extra touches which indicate this 4 start place to be better rated as a 5 star place! "Annalee was very accommodating when we arrived late and still gave us the full tour and description of her property. The area has lots to do with ostrich farms, Cango caves. Bufflesdrift Lodge is nearby is a great place for dinner. Bufflesdrift also has elephant tours and feedings etc!"

"We stayed one night at the Oakdene Guest House and wished we had stayed for two nights. The owners, Sonia and Daniel, were very welcoming and couldn’t have done anymore for us. Sonia cooks her own bread and cakes for guests. The smell and taste of both was fantastic. There is a swimming pool at the end of the long garden which was a great spot to unwind after a long drive.
