"This would have been a fantastic stay but we did book economy rooms and they were fairly basic compared to the rooms with private terraces onto the main gardens. Economy rooms seem to be for the drivers (mini bus and coach drivers etc) so I recommend checking where your room will be and perhaps going up a level. "

"The drive up to the hotel off of the main paved road requires driving along a poorly conditioned dirt road. "We stayed one night at the Oakdene Guest House and wished we had stayed for two nights. The owners, Sonia and Daniel, were very welcoming and couldn’t have done anymore for us. Sonia cooks her own bread and cakes for guests. The smell and taste of both was fantastic. There is a swimming pool at the end of the long garden which was a great spot to unwind after a long drive.
