"Great central location. Helpful staff. Cool restaurants nearby. Comfortable room, though tended to be too warm. Gym equipment not well maintained (stationary bike and elliptical); no cleaning equipment, unlike every other gym I’ve ever been to! Floor mats not clean. Sauna out of order- disappointing! Overall, a good stay."

"I recently stayed at Barcelo Hotel and had a generally positive experience, though with a few areas that could be improved. The hotel has a distinctive layout that made it stand out. It felt fresh and different compared to other places I've stayed. One thing I really appreciated was that there were plenty of towels in the room, which was great for convenience. Unfortunately, the rooms were not soundproof, and I could hear people talking and walking down the corridor, which was a bit disruptive...

"Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms with everything we needed from coffee to water to mini bar. Room was also lovely and warm. Could do with a mirror (not in bathroom area ) so that someone can put on makeup while someone else is in bathroom. Location is great, lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Can walk to all central locations. We would definitely stay here again "
