Very dark area, lot of grafiti on the walls in the buildings, few Thai massage places nearby that almost made it feel like a 3rd world country, - Only 1 elevator working the whole time. "We really enjoyed our stay here - an absolutely lovely hotel - beautifully designed, clean, comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a very high quality with changing options every day and an interesting tasty veggie option. The pool was gorgeous - a very comfortable temperature and big enough to have a good swim. I'd highly recommend staying here."

"Medos is in a great location and walkable to many of tourist spots. The park and square are decorated so beautifully for Christmas! Room was tidy and modern. We liked we could use Netflix and Disney on TV. Staff very helpful and stored our suitcases after check out as had a late flight. It’s just off a main road, however still very quiet. Only thing I would say is bathroom a bit tired and outdated but still useable and lovely warm shower/bath. Would definitely recommend and great price! "

"The hotel has a nice vibe. Seems to attract a younger crowd. The rooms are nicely furnished, sort of IKEA inspired. I expected more of a vibrant bar, and it wasn't, so I didn't end up utilizing it. The only negative thing was the taxi service they use. It was Budapest Taxi. The driver didn't know the city, or how to get to the river ports. Googleapa said it was a 17 min walk, and it took 35 min by taxi. And he didn't speak anything but Hungarian. Not a smart choice for tourists. "
