"An older property but clean. Wonderful staff. Some fixes were quickly dealt with. 2 mins from the station. Many nearby shops and good restaurants and bars. Busy area but everyone very friendly. There was a free minibar and free booze in decanters — that’s a first! Don’t expect single malt."

Breakfast was reasonably priced for a hotel (booking the night before is cheaper £11 than deciding on the day ). Cooked veggie choices at breakfast were quite limited by modern standards though. And perhsps because it was christmas the party going on in the function suite was audible in our 2nd floor bedroom until after midnight. "
