We stayed in the Prince Charlie room and it was absolutely gorgeous. I have never stayed anywhere with an in room breakfast provision, but it worked so well and we really enjoyed it. "We were on a long drive home from the North Coast to Edinburgh and decided late to give up and spend the night in Aviemore. This was perfect, lovely hotel, great service, excellent filling breakfast included. And perfect location for heading up to the Cairngorm Mountain Railway the next day. "

"We didn’t eat dinner there, and there was live music for awhile at night, but it ended around 10pm, so it was quiet when we wanted to sleep. We did eat at the restaurant for breakfast, and it was very tasty. We checked in around 8pm, and the owner/manager walked us to our room. He was very friendly. It was a convenient place to walk to various places, like Leakey’s Bookshop (right behind the hotel) and Greigg’s Bridge to get a good view of Inverness.
