"The room was decent, but not enough light. Both room and bathroom were dark. Front desk staff was nice. Breakfast was decent. There was a variety of hot food and cold cuts. The location is perfect. Lots of restaurants and shops "

There was a free pool table and flavored water, nearby restaurants, cafes and malls (including East Gate and Victorian Market) etc. Issues- - the toilet could and did flood because of the design of the shower - shower head was leaking - the mattress was a bit soft for my liking - our personal bottle of hair conditioner was removed from the toilet (returned after asking) - pillows promised were not provided until we asked...

"This property has excellent reviews but I just couldn't give it 5 stars. The radiator in our room didn't work so it was cold when we got there. The cleaning staff were cleaning other rooms and had turned off all the heating on the floors while they worked. After several trips to the bar/reception to try to get the heating in our room going it wasn't resolved so we used a little fan heater. "The jacuzzi tub was lovely! Just what I needed after a long drive. Room was very spacious and the bed was cozy/comfortable. Room service was convenient, albeit a limited menu. "

"Overall a very comfortable experience. This is the second time we stayed in Macdonald's hotel, opted for half board and loved our meals everynight. Breakfast was great, would be nice to have meatfree options for vegetarians, even if not in buffet but can offer to prepare it if requested, still loved scones and beans and pancakes, kind and caring staff."

"Came for the skiing over NY but not able to due to warm weather. Faculties at the hotel were great and it was clean and comfortable. It is within walking distance of all the restaurants and bars on the Main Street. Great location to travel to activities but a car is recommended. We would certainly recommend and will be returning in March. "
