"Lovely hotel, friendly staff and excellent service. The spa was quiet when we used it after check in and the following morning, which was an added bonus! I would definitely recommend the evening food - this was delicious. Breakfast was a bit basic but other than this, a great stay. We will be back. "

"Overall the stay was nice and location was perfect. Service was ok, reception staff were friendly. One small criticism would be that they are not very accommodating when it comes to making small changes or eliminations to a meal in the restaurant, for example swapping out the chips in a meal to something else (which pretty much all restaurants do!). "Lovely rooms. Nice spacious modern shower. Reasonably priced. Access to parking is tricky in a big vehicle, but plenty of room on street if you don't mind a few steps. Great location (less than 5 minutes from Bowness.) Would definitely return."
