Our bed was extremely comfy...even if it was two beds joined together. Our last room we stayed in, neither of us got much sleep as the bed was extremely uncomfortable...so we were really happy to get a comfortable bed...even if we had to pay a little more than our last visit. "Great, quiet location - just a short walk to local shops, cafes, restaurants and Four Pillars distillery. There are numerous wineries, good bushwalks and a popular chocolaterie/ice creamerie nearby. Accommodation is modern, very well-appointed and comfortable. The Treetop Retreat has a lovely leafy outlook and a private terrace area with bbq. The only downside is that our stay coincided with a low intensity heatwave and we found the fan in the bedroom to be inadequate for a good night’s sleep....
