"Great location and staff very helpful and friendly. There was a wedding happening whislt we stayed there and apart from seeing the bride and groom doing their photos we didnt even know a wedding was happening. Nice countryside walk into Thame as well. If i had to find issues then the room could have done with some complimentary water and dressing gowns though which was a bit of a surprise considering we were in a suite and the cost of it. Car park is a bit of a walk if its raining. However...

"This is a beautiful hotel and the room was also lovely unfortunately our tv had suddenly had no signal and we could not watch the movie we started to watch when we came back to the room late or the morning news as it was still not working. Reported to the reception who apologised but this was not up to the standard as it should be for stunning hotel like this. "

"Hotel in very good position. Easy to walk into the centre, approx 15 mins. There's also a regular bus service if you prefer. Rooms are a little tired like most old houses. Parking was a bonus. It was also very clean. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good quality produce but a bit chaotic in the dining room the 2nd day. "I found the hotel to be very short staffed and a bit unorganised. I rang the hotel several times and no one answered my calls. Also no one returned my calls. "Lovely welcoming staff, with honeycomb from their own bees. Lovely building, quiet and relaxing. Nice spa with treatments. Good buffet breakfast with lots of options overlooking the thames. An hours walk along the thames into oxford. Or a short bus ride from right outside the hotel. Would recommend. "
