"Good convenient location. Clean well appointed rooms. Staff welcoming and very helpful. Only issue is the room on the 2nd floor was unbearably warm and there was no way to manually control it. The staff provided a floor fan on our second night and moved us to an upper floor day 3 and 4. I would stay again but request a higher floor. "

"An elderly property essentially on the esplanade. Of course that means no lift making it inaccessible for some. On the other hand the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the included breakfast was good and the price was incredibly low. This might have been because I visited "off season" but it was certainly about half the cost of any other lodging I used during a two-week trip across the south coast. I'd definitely go back again."

"Had a 2 day stay at Buxted Park Hotel for a family wedding. The facilities were amazing. The rooms for the ceremony were spacious, clean and well able to cater for the wedding guests. "Stayed for a friends wedding celebration. Breakfasts were really good, quiet at night and slept really well with very comfortable mattress. Didn't mind the wonky floor.. goes with territory of an old building.. only criticism of the room would be the noisy toilet pump! Staff were very helpful and felt sorry for the poor chef who had to work alone for a while due to staff sickness. Kept his cool and very professional!
