"This was a beautiful old hotel, the staff tried very hard to accommodate and overcome any language barriers. The bar was small and cute and the heated pool and spa looked beautiful. "The hotel had great staff. The common areas are nice and very well done. The only thing that prevented a 5 star rating was the very small and dated feel of the room we had. It felt more like staying at an aunt’s house than a hotel. It was our first time in the area, so I don’t know if that’s standard for the area. Given the very limited options in that area, the proximity to Omaha Beach, and the friendliness of the staff, would recommend, and stay again. "
