"This place is amazing. It was built as a winery in 1600’s and now it has been converted into a hotel. The architecture and interior finish is beautiful. The grounds and pool are meticulously maintained. It was a treat to have a full hot breakfast rather than the usual continental. It was very quiet however we were there in October."

"The cleanliness was on point and the cleaning lady was really nice. Reception was alright, but I had to wait 2 days for someone to come and fix the shower cable, after I had told them 3 times. Even after the shower cable was ‘fixed’ though, there was still water coming out of the shower plate, which developed a small flooding each time I would shower. That, I had told them too. They did offer another room, but I was staying just for 3 nights, so I declined. Okay, in the overall."

Two things we were disappointed in was the breakfast, which could be improved dramatically - I know they cater mainly for Italian tourists, but we have been to many other Italian hotels and this one has the poorest breakfast of all of them, for example: no cheese on ham, only pastries, bread and yoghurts very poor, and very little fruit. "The staff was especially helpful, cheerful and efficient. The breakfast had a wide array of choices and was delicious. The room had many amenities such as robes, slippers and bath products. Would definitely stay here again."

"Big room. Twin beds, which felt quite small and a very uncomfortable pillow (why hotels can’t provide guests with two decent pillows each is beyond me).
