"Nice property but far from the city and Reef Terminal in Cairns. Property could recommend closer options for water sports. I ended up renting a car once I realized how far it was from the Cairns Marlin Marina. The property did not have an elevator make sure you can carry you bags the 3 plus flights Palm Cove is quaint. The restaurants in the area walkable from the property. "

"The management was fantastic and super accommodating with printing things we needed, and letting us stay late in our condo as we had hours before our flight. The pool area was wonderful and the resort itself was very well kept. The condo we had was older, other than an updated painting and brighter lighting I would give it a 10. A light grey paint would accent the ondo furnishings wonderful. Just a FYI to the owner."

"We had a wonderful stay at The Mantra. We booked the spa onsite for a massage and it was amazing. We had a connecting room with the kids and the rooms were so spacious with a wonderful view. Internet was dicey, but we did not care. We asked for 3rd floor even after reading the reviews but we loved it. Staff are wonderful too. The walk to the affiliated restaurant for breakfast was alot in the muggy weather but so good. One of the best buffets we have had and we also had lunch one day there. Fantastic."

"The Reef Retreat setting is very nice and tranquil. The only drawback for us was our room was a top floor one. We had lots of suitcases due to our cruise before we disembarked in Cairns. The location is very good and close to many restaurants. The room was comfortably and had everything we needed."
