Site itself was stunning. Even though it was not beach front, the grounds and greenery were pristine even off season. I enjoyed the fact that it was a much smaller hotel and had lots of refinement and personality without seeming stuffy. The service staff was stellar who showed us our room and offered to help with our bags. Even though our receptionist didn’t speak English fluently. She tried her very best and it was much much better than my failed and laughable attempts in French. Even then she remained unflustered, professional and friendly. The hotel does have a sign up front that states they speak English but I feel I should at least try to blend in with the culture. "
