"Staff brilliant and jasmine on the bar was really nice she really did far and beyond with our drinks. The room was very tired with stains on the wall looked like drinking chocolate and carpets could do with a deep clean but room was ok for an overnight stay. The room could do with a refresh as silicone is missing from part of shower tray and only one plug to charge mobile by the bed so my partner couldn’t charge her phone so maybe suggest a maintenance visit in near future but like I say for a...

"The parking situation was not ideal. No directions or signage til at the underground garage. Have to obtain password from reception to unlock padlock to pull heavy metal gate open then closed. No direct route to hotel. So you drag luggage round the main road to the front of the pub/hotel. "

"Overnight parking fee of £15 should be more transparent overnight. Very clean and nicely presented. Helpful staff but was kept waiting over 20 minutes as Expedia hadn’t paid Holiday Inn. Good sleep. Good bathroom. ( towels for 3 when 4 staying. Minor issue but often happens in big chains). Very good breakfast ( between 8-9:30 so no seeping in). Overall would use again if cheaper than local pub who doesn’t charge for parking. "

"Generally speaking very good. The things that spoiled it for me was the noise of the private parties, both on the Friday and Saturday nights. Added to the fact that a constant stream of party guests traipsing through the bar to go outside to smoke and huddled together because of inclement weather the doors stayed open, letting the wind and rain blow through the bar.
