"The security was very rude and intimidatory. They Would not allow me into the property without my key card. I explained that my friend has the key card and went back to the room early. I was the lead guest in the booking. I had email confirmation, my ID and the card I used to pay. Hotel security still refused me entry. I had to call the reception desk to get approval access. This was 4am. Prior to this rude hiccup I enjoyed my stay. After this incident it put a dampen on the rest of the trip."

"Comfortable and quiet room. Well appointed. Staff are always nice here. The food menu I find a bit limited and not great value. A bit reliant on the fryer. The location is good - great for RMAS. The really great feature is the lovely pool. "

"First and foremost, the location cannot be beat. It is so central to everything you need and beautifully situated on the water. The staff at the front desk during the day were all so helpful and kind, really made you feel like you were at home. My wife and I enjoyed the decor of the rooms, a little different than your typical hotel, but more character for sure. Very comfortable beds as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone."

"It was comfortable and a very peaceful stay at Holiday Inn Slough. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were better than expected. All in all, Holiday Inn hotels never disappoint. Hence we always try to book with them. "

"A lovely place to stay and very central. Friendly staff and a convenient location. Lovely cooked breakfast. The shower was a bit dated and there were no radiators but there was an electrical radiator. The room itself was of good quality. Would definately stay here again."

"Charming hotel right across from Windsor Castle. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. We stayed in a section that only had stairs to get to the rooms across a beautiful walkway but there wasn’t too many as there was only a couple of floors. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but it looked lovely. We were there for New Years and had the dinner and dance in the ballroom. The food was fabulous. "Good for the cost though seemed slightly understaffed over the Christmas period perhaps. Gym and pool area decent, nice staff across site. Needs a little spruce up of exterior and recycling bins as an improvement. "

"Crowne Plaza on New Year day is quiet and enjoyable. There is space for kids to roam around. The dining option was good, a bit expensive for what they said was freshly cooked food but didnt taste like it. The service at reception and restaurant and bar was brilliant. "put my mum in here for xmas break while visiting family. I was wanting a ground floor room for accessibility. All communication was good pre arrival and our requests were granted. From what I could see it is a lovely hotel and Mum was very happy. All staff were very pleasant"
