"Great hotel with a nice New England charm. Centrally located and right on the water with beautiful views. Staff was extremely friendly ,ice cold fruited water and warm chocolate chip cookies waiting for you on the buffet. Beds were VERY comfortable and the pillows were extraordinary! Clean rooms, bathrooms. Hallways and stairwells were spotless. "

"The inn is charming and comfortable and the service is exceptional. The only reason I have not given five stars in every category is the state of the stairways. Outdoors, the stairs to the entrance are uneven and hazardous. Inside, the stairs to the second floor are very steep and narrow, with shallow treads. Surprisingly for an inn of this caliber, there is no elevator."

"We ended up finding this location at the very last minute. IT WAS PERFECT! There was a snafu with our VRBO reservation and we were unable to get in. Once we hopped onto Hotels.com and did a search for something a family of 5 could stay in near Bar Harbor during the busiest time for the area, this house in Acadia popped up.
