Convenient location: 10-minute walk to town/sea, 15- to 20-minute walk from the train station. Kind and friendly staff. Generous VIP benefits. Good value. Cons: Some windows face the street so awkward to open the curtains. Small bathroom. Wifi not password protected (but requires frequent acceptance of terms of use). "

"I stayed at the Laguna as it's my go to hotel when in Poole/Bournemouth. The hotel is clean but not the cleanest, staff are friendly happy and helpful. The hotel is located close to Bournemouth centre, an easy 10 minutes stroll through the pleasure gardens will get you to town centre bars restaurant, shops etc and the beach is just a few minutes further walking. Free parking at the hotel is a big plus and on cloudy or rainy days the hotels own indoor pool is a massive bonus if you have children...

"Fantastic location right on the beach. Sea view room worth the extra. Staff were very attentive, wonderfully cheerful & nothing was too much trouble. The room was well equipped, almost too much furniture, & the only criticism was that the mattress needs replacing & was too soft & lumpy. The bathroom was large & well equipped, the small fridge was very useful. Ventana restaurant was superb, delicious food & very good value. "
