"1 night stop over to visit family, great price for a really nice room with a comfortable bar area. Restaurant was very busy and food looked very nice. We met family out for food so didn't try the restaurant but will definitely give it a go next time."

"We had a comfortable stay,the staff we saw were very friendly from what e noticed the young man running the bar also did reception duty’s When we came down for Breakfast the tables were never set up they did that when you sat down I thought the breakfast menu was very limited."

"I stayed for one night as I was attending a function nearby so only needed a place to sleep for the evening. The room I was in was super warm and cosy and had everything I needed. I had a private bathroom across the landing which was decent enough. The bed was comfy. The host is simply lovely, such a welcoming lady. For the price I was very happy. "

"Great little pub in a quiet location but close to major routes. The communication from owner was great and welcomed me on arrival. The room was very modern, clean spacious and well equipped. The bed was really comfy with high quality bed sheets and duvet. I enjoyed a meal on the second night which was fabulous and well presented. "Everything about the hotel is great. Only weird bit was having to enter all my details to do the booking and then getting a check in email to enter them all again. In 2024 it is odd getting an email to ask me for my email address. I guess this is an issue with linking to Expedia but surely by now the customer experience would have been perfected. "
