"The staff were extremely slow and never listened. Multiple occasions where I ordered something from room service or in the bar, and then had to chase staff 40 minutes later. It was easier to go to reception and get it myself. I tried organising a taxi for when I checked out the next day - reception staff were incapable. Very disappointing. "

"We booked a room with a private pool but when we arrived the room was located on the 1st floor without a private pool. It turned out the ‘private pool’ was a shared pool on the ground floor with the room below ours. It clearly stated a private pool when we made the reservation and I went back afterwards to double check if it said a shared pool anywhere - but it didn’t. They charged us for every moment. We order a room for 2 adults and a kid, we got a small queen bed for 3 of us, when we asked for extra bed, they charged us 15$ per night, when we lost a card key, they charged us for a 1000r...the toilet stopped working for 3 times.. the most strange thing was at the day we left , they...

"We had a lovely one night stay at Ferncliff, it was just lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a very well run ‘b&b’ type hotel but much more luxurious. Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end. "

"I had booked a room for a weekend for a family member to enjoy their birthday and he was blown away by the experience/guest experience. The space is beautiful and looks like paradise, the food is excellent, very clean space including the bathrooms and the highlight of it all was the friendly staff. They were extremely helpful and kind providing many things to do while visiting. Would definitely recommend for anyone passing by for a stay! "

"Sehr schönes Hotel in einer alten Teefabrik. Herausragend war die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Das Essen war herrvorragend und die Zimmer sehr sauber. Wir bekamen eine Führung in der Teefabrik wo uns der Teeprozess erklärt und gezeigt wurde. Auch eine Wanderung wurde angeboten. Alles in allem nur zu empfehlen!! Bei der Hinfahrt ist es besser nach dem Weg zu fragen. Google maps führt woanders hin. "

"Small Hotel near to the racetrack. Nice room comfortable bed. Short walk to the centre of town. The host is very helpful and when I left took me in his tuk tuk to the bus station and made sure I got on the right bus. A pleasant place to stay."
