"The Black Friar was a great place to stay in Inverness. It was really convenient to the bus station. Close to everything that I wanted to see and walk to. The staff were helpful and accommodating. The room was perfect and had a great shower! Would stay again."

"We could not have enjoyed our stay more! Our 2 BR room was very roomy and cozy, a beautiful 1-minute walk from the main building. The breakfasts were outstanding and the dinners even better. But the best thing about the Loch Ness Country House is the staff. They were exceptionally warm, charming and helpful. . . including when we unexpectedly had to cut our stay by one night. They would have been perfectly entitled to charge us for the night given that we were only able to give them 24 hour...

"The room was very spacious and clean. Washer and dryer and full kitchen was wonderful. Beds very comfortable. Location was near a great selection of restaurants and shopping. Parking is free but a bit of a walk. No lift so have to carry bags up the stairs. "

"Quaint and quiet guest house right in the heart of Inverness. Easy walking to anywhere you might want to go downtown but far enough to be quiet at night. Floors were a little creaky but the house had a lot of charm and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating."

"We loved our stay, just wish we could have stayed longer. We got in later than check in and Mark the owner still came to greet us and help us with our bags. He was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in the black bear hut and it was everything we needed! Definitely small, but we were expecting it to be, and if anything it added to the coziness! The owners thought of everything from snacks, tea, coffee, fresh towels, you name it. The space was so clean, I have nothing bad...

"Communication was great - clear and concise with everything explained well. Check in was all remote. We chose to add the parking for our stay - this is attached to the unit complex with lift access. The building and apartment were amazing. We had a 2 bedroom apartment- very spacious and well maintained. Full kitchen as well. Great view from the balcony. Many options for food within 5 min walk. Major shopping Centre down the road. Felt comfortable and like a home as opposed to a hotel...

"Got the personal tour from Gail. Had the delux double which was very spacious and well equipped. Anything you need was available ether already there or just ask and all staff cheery n helpful. Great value for money and lovely fresh butcher supplied cooked breakfast. Sadly was a flying visit, but highly recommend for a single night or longer stay."
