"Really nice stay ,staff really helpful 👍 A must have is dinner it was amazing food 😋 wished we would have booked a 2 night stay though x dog friendly, a bit of barking which made me jump on a few occasions but its a dog friendly hotel so to be expected . It says the room is sound proof but we stayed in a ground floor room and coukd hear the neighbours above us walking across the floor and their tv . Overall a really nice stay in an amazing location will definatley return but chiose a different...

"We stayed for a friends wedding, the Garden Rooms are absolutely stunning and were a stones throw from the wedding venue (Newton Hall). The beds were so comfy, the grounds were immaculate and it was a short walk down to the most gorgeous beach! Breakfast was also delicious, we will be back!"

"The property itself and the host and hostess were fabulous. The room was quiet and had everything we needed. It was walkable into Alnwick. The only problem is the back path from the house into Alnwick is rough and very uneven and is not lit. I have mobility issues and we made it both nights without any issues however I would have liked an easier walk. "

Field of Rape, Ewe Hill I took the Public Bridleway from Elford to Newhouses intending to pop into this grid square. But to my disappointment the field was full of rape. The GPS said I was 19m outside the square. To make matters worse the farmer had planted right up to the hedge line obliterating the bridleway. My cycle was yellow with the pollen. In the distance can be seen the two patches of woodland in this square, Fox Covert and Barber's Cover.
