The only downside is the decor is very tired, including several broken boarded up windows in public spaces that await replacement"

"This hotel has recently been refurbished and looks very nice, clean and tidy. Out room was pleasant and the bed was very comfortable. The only disappointment for us was breakfast was not served in the dining room (which I was looking forward to on Christmas morning) but in a stark function room with no windows or pleasant Christmas atmosphere. When we expressed our disappointment a very nice lady did accommodate us in the restaurant."
