"Check in was easy, our room was quaint and cosy. We loved the beams and authentic inn-feel! Breakfast was delicious and we ate there the first night which was very tasty. Service was superb, we felt very well looked after. Would highly recommend if looking to stay in the area."

"A pleasant stay in an attractive country pub The room was spacious and thoughtfully decorated. The bed comfortable. The food was good especially the breakfast. It is in a pretty village good for walking outside. Plenty of parking. Would like to see double glazing on the windows as right by a road. However this isn’ta problem at night as very quiet and peaceful. The room was exceptional with vaulted beams and chandeliers. A lovely bathroom with pleasant toiletries but the shower shelf on...

"A lovely romantic getaway! Very friendly staff, tastefully decorated rooms and great breakfast! Its remote but its a great position to explore the area. We werent very impressed with our dinner from the pub but we ordered late so maybe we were just unlucky. We stayed in 'Normandy' room which is a superior double - nice room but it only has a bath, no shower, which we didnt realise when we request a room with a bath. We would definitely stay again when in the area. "
