"Rudesheim was our last stop during our 2 week European vacation and we were very happy to stay at Hotel Zum Baeren as it was the best property we stayed at during our entire trip. We have bad allergies and asthma and the staff was able to accommodate our needs fully. "The hotel was modern yet had the feel of a bed and breakfast due to the amazing family that manages it. The breakfasts were fabulous. We felt like we were in a village but only 45 mins (or less) from the Frankfurt airport. We enjoyed bird watching/walking along the river, tasting wine at the Ingelheimer Vinothek and day trips in/around the area. We would absolutely go back."

"Great place and great location. One major drawback however is the Glockenspiel, on a tower inside the hotel courtyard, that rings for several minutes every hour on the hour from 10 am to 10 pm. You can not only hear it, but feel it in the nearby rooms when it chimes. Can be very annoying for one trying to take a midday nap or who has gone to bed early. (Also, I discovered too late that had I booked directly with the property, the parking would have been free and the taxes reduced.) "

"This was the first hotel I stayed at on my trip. The staff were very professional, pleasant and helpful. The hotel is in a lovely location. The breakfast buffet had a variety of choices and was delicious. I ate dinner at the hotels restaurant and truly enjoyed my meals!! The service was excellent!"

"1st time I went to a renewed part of hotel and was great. This time I took another room, at the old area and was not so comfortable. Also there were people at restaurant and you could hear from the room. I could not sleep due to the noise."
