"My family and I traveled to Algiers from California and we stayed at Hotel Soltane for few days. We had and excellent experience. Very clean, conveniently located near the City and all the tourist sites. Most importantly, the hotel staff were very friendly and offered EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. We will stay here again on our next visit."

I waited 2 hours to do the check in, the first room was depressing I asked to change it, after a long negotiation they gave me another one, I went to their restaurant on the beach to have a drink and chill while they prepared the room, the service there was even worse, I waited 30 minutes for just a lemon juice and it was so bad, then I asked for an orange juice, when I complained...

"I sent 2 emails and called the hotel once to arrange a pick up at the airport. I was not picked up and at 1:30 AM got ripped off by the only taxi at the airport. If one is English speaking only, this hotel is not for you. English is poorly spoken and poorly understood. We ate lunch at their restaurant, being the only ones there. It took 55 minutes for my wife to get a bowl of soup. Menu selection was poor. We had no hot water for our first shower. We had only one bath towel for 2 people. To...

"The pool wasn't open, the staff were very kind and cordial with me but the front desk was very rude to my wife and also refused to give the proper room after having an issue. this issue was not corrected until the following day and the room rates are almost 30$ apart. Cleaning staff was fantastic, and all but one of the restaurant staff were very pleasant. some of the amenities were not properly functioning"

Unfortunately the manners and overall attitud of the reception staff at a recent check in and check out... very noon welcoming language, rude and obnoxious behaviour. "An older property that's well maintained, the El Aurassi has unparalleled views of the harbor and city. Staff are attentive, multi-lingual and food is good. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff stopped by throughout the day to refresh supplies. Shower is an inconvenient setup that allows water to pool on floor. Would definitely stay longer next time."
