Our room, although small, was quite commodious and had historic traditional Portuguese furniture. Our dinner and breakfast were most enjoyable, although the dinner was not “gourmet”. Would we stay there again? Absolutely."

"A special hotel in an ancient building gives a good feeling. Breakfast is okay. Coffee needs to be improved. The snack bar is excellent. The design is amazing. The patio is special. The environment is pleasant to walk around in. The receptionist is kind. "

"Very nice hotel along the waterfront in the very nice town of Porto. Staff was very friendly and even gave us one of his own Ibuprofen when we asked where we could find some. Unfortunately, we were feeling a little under the weather so did not get the full experience we could have. Excellent views from the roof top bar that also served a good selection of snacks and drinks. The waterfront is immediately in front of the hotel and offers a great opportunity to walk or jog for miles along the Duoro River. We would definitely stay here again."
