"The location is excellent. It is right at the city center. Shopping malls and the pedestrian-only streets are either downstairs or just round the corner. It is convenient to get a taxi to places of interest, such as the Kunming Lake, West Hill, Minority races cultural center, the Flower market and the provincial museum. Room is spacious and clean, but the fittings seems aged. The breakfast food are mainly Chinese dishes with limited variety. Overall, it is acceptable as a 4-star hotel, but...

"Room was clean and generally pleasant. The hotel is not a smoking free hotel so do not be surprise if your room smells smokey or if you see guests smoking at the lift lobby. However, thankful that I got a room that did not smell. Furniture were abit old but usable. Breakfast was very good, worth to get the room with free breakfast. "
