"The VIP Access allowed me free self-parking as well as an upgrade from Junior Penthouse to Penthouse which was a lovely bonus. The place was easy to find and park. There was no need to drive anywhere for dining as there were plenty of options all within 5-10 minutes walking distance. The penthouse itself was a magnificent space which we thoroughly enjoyed staying in. "We had a lovely 3 night stay at Oulton Hall hotel. It was our first trip away with our dog. The staff were brilliant and so helpful, and there’s lovely grounds to walk the dog in. We also appreciated that there was a lovely bed for him in our room and food bowl. I would definitely choose to stay here again. "

"I put in a request for an early check in via the Hotels.com messaging app. Upon arrival, the receptionist told me that they didn't receive it. I showed them the message in my Hotels.com app (which contained a "we received your message and will get back to you shortly" style confirmation) and she informed me that they don't receive messages from Hotels.com. I find it strange that Hilton and Hotels.com/Expedia - two powerhouses of hotel travel, don't have a working communication system. But...
