On arrival we were welcomed with a warm smile from staff and even though the hotel was busy a staff member who was off duty escorted us to our room and booked us in for dinner. "Lovely spot in a beautiful part of the world. Cabin may be a tad dated, but it had everything you could possibly want and was kept very clean. Staff were pleasant. Park itself was family orientated and quiet at night. Property close to the national park. Would definitely return and stay longer."

"Our cottage at The Black Sparrow was cosy and warm for our winter getaway. It was clean and comfortable and everything worked well. It was quiet and set in a beautiful location. We arrived when it was dark, so the narrow dirt roads were a little difficult to navigate and additional lighting might have helped. Overall, a fantastic place to stay for a few nights, very peaceful and private and just as close to Mt Buller for skiing as the more expensive Mansfield. Thanks!"
