"The hotel was very conveniently located about 1-1/2 blocks away from the Tridade metro train station, however I didn't take the metro while there because I wanted to explore the city by foot. The hotel was very near the main road where all the shopping/ restaurants/ wine bars were located. It was about a 16 minute walk to the Dom Luis bridge but be prepared to walk many hills back to the hotel. The room itself was very nice and the hotel facilities: gym, dining restaurant, roof top bar were excellent."

"The hotel is clean, well kept, the bed size listed as a double bed is a generous size and felt a little larger than a north American queen sized bed. The roof top bar patio was a very nice surprise. The hotel was within walking distance to the downtown core but offered the quietness of being away from crowds."

"We enjoyed our stay here. We booked a junior suite because we were here for 7 nights - the extra space made it very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were really good, and we ate in the hotel restaurant twice - lovely food and good value (discount for hotel guests). The hotel is right next to the metro, which is modern and a bonus for travel in the eastern half of Porto (good luck with the buses in the western half). The 3-day "tourist" travelcard is great value but can't be bought everywhere (nearest is Trindade station). We loved the local restaurant Nova Era - mainly locals, really friendly - recommended."
