"I normally stay away from hotel rooms because of the noise. I am a light sleeper and people coming and going all night makes for a miserable experience. However… I was in the main part of the hotel, and I can honestly say I didn’t hear a single thing until 845 in the morning. I managed to sleep which is the highest recommendation I can give. "My partner and I stayed at the Macquarie 4 Star (locals referred to it as 'The Club') for one night in room 007. Access to the property, parking, and check-in was very easy. There wasn't much to do at check-in other than receive the key cards, give them my contact details, and choose whether we wanted to pre-book the buffet breakfast (not included with room, additional $20pp if pre-booked or $25pp if you show up unannounced). I was a bit miffed at the venue for charging my card a few days...
