"This property was like stepping back in time…a very quaint well kept hotel. We were traveling by bikes and they had bike storage on property which was great - they also offered early check in! The breakfast was phenomenal and all restaurants in the area were great! We would definitely stay again!"

"One of my favorite hotels ever! The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, including the beds - I sleep badly at most hotels but slept peacefully here. Bathrooms also five star. The staff was very helpful and sorted out a reservation issue (my fault) with no hassles. Nice location, walkable to many restaurants and shops. Plus there is a bus station right outside and the hpf (trains) are a block away. Amazing value for the price. "

"We made a last minute reservation, looking forward to staying along the Mosel River, and were thoroughly pleased with this inexpensive, charming hotel. Our dinner in their dining room and the breakfast the next morning were excellent. The reception staff recommended that we explore the downtown area and the Bruckentor (old bridge gate), and especially the harrowing but rewarding trip up to the Ruine Grevenburg (castle ruins), and it was unforgettable. "Lovely hotel; not too big, not too small. Friendly helpful staff, friendly quiet guests, small but perfectly adequate breakfast. We stayed with our two children in a family room and it was a good size with plenty of room for us all. Stayed in July and it could have done with aircon but not too bad. Parking was on street but right outside, limited to 4hrs during 0800-2000. Pay by phone app made it easy and we were only there overnight so time limit was not an issue. "Everything is good. Great location, nice rooms. A little pricier than others. Two negatives: - the computerized checkin is cumbersome and buggy. It took three attempts to complete it, and the staff cannot override the program — it would be good to have a way to boil water to make tea in the evening, in the room or in the common area. "
