"Someone obviously put a lot of care into building this place and in cultivating the gardens and grounds, it's really lovely. The concierge, Ricardo goes above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating, he's wonderful. "We were greeted by name by our hostess, Señora Domitila, as we walked up to Casa de Luna... it is quite a hike from the port with multiple stops to rest due to the altitude. Go straight up and to the right (multiple times) and ask a few people where Casa de la Luna is on the way. The hotel is beautiful with a stunning view of the lake. Our room was large and comfortable. "While it's a bit of a hike to the property, the hike is well rewarded with views to both the east and the west. The owners are very friendly and the breakfast is wonderful. They hadn't had a guest since the pandemic and understandedly they let their WiFi lapse. The daughter was helpful though providing me with a password to a nearby restaurant."
