"Lovely friendly welcoming staff. Clean room. Great having a fridge in the room. I didn't like the lack of security to the rooms. Stairs by the front doors to the front and side of the reception area. There was no lock on the access door to the rooms therefore anyone could access the corridors to the rooms"

"This is quite an old establishment, probably a former coaching inn. As such, it is a little old-fashioned, in need of some modernisation, but I feel that this is reflected in the price, which was very good value and included a very nice breakfast."

"Had a lovely Mothers day meal but unfortunately we were placed by the side entrance and people were constantly opening the door . It was absolutely freezing in there , poor Mother is 90 and it was way too cold for her . The roast meal however was faultless lovely and tasty and piping hot . Hotel Room could do with updating but it was very spacious and exceptionally clean . "
