There is good hiking around the town although the info available from the tourist office is quite limited for those speaking English. The Not So Good: The room I had, although quite spacious, was not very practical. A single thin futon bed was in the middle of a otherwise largely empty space. "Very convenient to ferry, a short bus ride away from the train station. Good breakfast, coin laundry, amazing view. Large room, hotel staff very helpful. Clean and comfortable. "
