"The competency and friendliness of the staff is exceptional from initial welcome, to cleaners, we had a lovely stay at the Antelope in fact this was our second visit, and wouldn't hesitate to stay again or reccomend. it's ideally placed or shops, quayside Nd transport links. Loads of top notch restaurants and pubs too makes it a great weekend away. "

"This was an absolute gem of a retreat. I was on a choir visit at The Abbey and needed to get there and back quickly between rehearsals and services and the place was just gorgeous. Beautifulmbig bedroom with all those little touches and sweet garden. Staff really helpful about leaving the car there after checkout and having a friend over for coffee. Breakfast was incredible…I want to come back!!!"

"On traditionally bleak winters day in south west Dorset this hotel was warm and welcoming, spacious and well presented rooms. Breakfast was well cooked and served promptly. A strong 9/10 because although you should never judge a book by the cover, this hotel lets it self down with it's exterior presentation"

"We had a great 2 night stay and were made welcome. Beautiful views. Great location as it is quiet. Food was very good. We ate an evening meal and also breakfast. Lots of choices. The room walls must be quite thin as could here a TV in another room through the bathroom but was not a problem as it was early evening. The bathroom had a small step up to it and was a great shower. We stayed in April and the rooms were cosy and warm. "

"Very pleasant stay, friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. Room clean - just the felt the decor was a little tired - but understandable in the current economic climate. Great that there was parking available. Great that it was dog friendly. Very convenient for the sea front. "

"A very friendly pub ,excellent staff and allowing dogs in . Food excellent difference sizes all locally bought great portions , never do u leave still hungry. Rooms clean and tidy. Thanks again to the staff and Dean for your hospitality .definitely will be back "
