"Nice hotel design . But most of the staff don’t speak English well. There are v few choice of food and the Japanese restaurant is not to par , the food is way overpriced . The quality is below average . I hate to say it but the truth is that the food is the worst I have ever tried in Japan . the staff there is not polite and at some point I found them rude . "Very good stay for families (up to 6) who like to stay/make meals. The 2 bedrooms at ground level and 1 tatami room/dining/kitchen on level 2 so take note that there are stairs. Aeon mall is located about 10 min away for grocery shopping. There are 2 oyster huts nearby too."

We contacted the agent, and while it took a bit of negotiation, they organised someone to deliver a bigger saucepan the next day - so top marks for their responsiveness. Imari (and the nearby Okawachiyama Village) is charming, and we used it as a base to explore Hirado. "
