"We enjoyed staying at this beautiful boutique hotel on lake Erhai. The room was great w a nice view of the lake, comfortable bed and great shower. Breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff was very nice. Would definitely come here again."

"The hotel is set in an ancient dwelling built around a courtyard. While our room retained its original ancient nature, it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom, on the other hand, was modern and there was no lacking hot water. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet side street in the middle of the ancient city just off of the major pedestrian street of Remin Road with its many eateries, shops and bars. "The photos on the website looked pretty and the room was nice with lovely views. it said in the details it was 1 minute walk to Erhai Lake whereas it was actually a drive up a steep hill and then 60 steps down to the hotel and another 30 stairs to get down to the room. Very little choice of food for breakfast and limited selection for evening meal and nothing else close by. The hotel were messaging before our stay biut were not particularly welcoming or helpful seeming more interested in playing...
