"Stayed here for one night during our visit to Alton Towers (about 30 minutes away). Service was friendly and efficient. Rooms were clean and tidy. Bed comfy. Breakfast was decent (though not quite Premier Inn standard). We usually book Premier Inns and have shied away from the Holiday Inn brand but this trip may have changed our minds on that. PS. My son had forgotten his phone charging cable and the staff member was happy to go the extra mile to find one to loan him."

"the location was ok for us as we had a car but if not please look for locations nearer to city centre. The room was so hot at night. Not sure about the neatness but it really needs a lot of works: they need to refurbish the place sincerely. You can see tiles coming off the flooring just to give 1 example"

"Stayed for 4 nights while working in the area. Everything about the hotel was really good. Friendly and pleasant staff. Great food especially the Indian menu. Stayed in one of the Garden rooms which was very spacious and comfortable. "

"Nice hotel comfy bed nice continental breakfast downside my room overlooked a 24 hour petrol station noisy into early hours and unfortunately my room smelt think because it had a toilet waste maserator"

"Very good value for money. Hotel and B&B prices are on the pricier side in this area and this hotel is very fairly priced, we had a lovely twin room and bathroom and freshly cooked breakfast. Parking was just £6.50 for 24 hours. Location is excellent, just across the road from Buxton Opera House. Would stay again!"

"The location was good, free parking but unfortunately, it was full on the day, so had to park at a near by long stay. The staff were nice and friendly as always. The room needed a little bit of an update and maintenance for the price (£100 a night) "
