"The £5 a night parking charge surprised me, perhaps I missed this when reading your website. Also, the barrier preventing me driving into the car park was down thus, I could not drive in. Apparently there is a 4-digit code to enter. Again, I don’t remember reading about that on your website. In any case, surely that 4-digit code should be texted or emailed to guests prior to their arrival. So, my initial impression of the hotel was not good. "Recently refurbished, but not complete ... smart TVs not yet connected properly, for example. Done up to a nice standard, but a few minor snagging and design issues. There was quite a bit of street noise outside my room, but it was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and attentive."
