"We had a fantastic stay, amazing value food.. £11 for three courses and the breakfast was great. great staff, comfy beds and a warm room.. The bathroom needed attention in certain areas. No hairdryer in the room but reception did get me one.. there was no shower gel or shampoo in the room and reception couldn’t provide any so had to use the hand soap. "We booked this pub/hotel for a two night stay due to going to a wedding at Hallington Mill a venue approximately 15mins drive away. Arriving on a Friday afternoon we received a lovely friendly welcome and had a evening meal on our first night. We stayed in room 7 a fantastic large bathroom which look brand new. "If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would just for the staff!! Anyone we came in contact with were impeccably nice. It was so wonderful meeting them.
