"Overall, a very pleasant experience for an overnight stay of that price. The reception staff were friendly and helpful on my arrival as well as when I had an issue with my car tyre from 9pm to almost 1am- which was greatly appreciated. The lady at reception assured me that there was no issue if i was to have to leave my car for the day even after checkout. "Excellent location and surprisingly quiet despite being next to busy A road and also the main train station. Clearly the soundproofing works. Staff were very attentive, polite, helpful and smart. In terms of the room it was comfortable. Bed was very large, facilities excellent. But no wardrobe - it was really just a clothes rack. That said, I'd stay here again and recommend others do."

"Comfortable stay as always with this chain. Travelled with partner and our dog who was, and is always made to feel welcome with this chain of hotels. Some of the breakfast options a little dry and over cooked and some of the space could do with a deep clean other than that no concerns and would 100%stay again and recommend to others"

"I love the George in Huntingdon and have visited many times over the years and including for RAF Reunions. This time I was moving home to Scotland and stayed for a couple of nights. All staff welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Cannot praise high enough. Thank you. "

"Quirky but very nice and comfortable. Nelio was extremely helpful. Parking a bit tight but nothing to worry about. Short walk into a lovely little town with plenty of shops and eateries."

"The room was spotless, very roomy and well set out, modern and airy, the bed was super comfy. The location is set away from any main roads and has a countryside feel, so no noise on a night to upset your sleep. Also you have free access to a well equipped gym and various eateries on site."

"I decided, very last minute, to use a hotel as we were celebrating a friend's birthday nearby. I had been given a room on the top floor, but there wasn't a lift and I have a knee problem, so I was swiftly swapped to a ground floor room. The room was excellent value for money. Even though the hotel is only rated 3*, it had an iron and ironing board, tea and coffee, a TV, a safe, free wi-fi, laundry service, and a gorgeously comfortable bed.
